The entire premise of The Key Guys, is to be of service. We help people when they need help with the one thing we are really good at, Fixing and Replacing Car Keys. We service the entire Minneapolis, St Paul Metro area.
As simple as it would seem, car keys are far more complex these days that was the case in the past.
And while simple, when they go wrong, or get lost, their owners are all of a sudden facing a minor to major crises. Depending upon their specific circumstances at that particular time.
It goes without saying that it is almost always the worst possible time.
Since our purpose for being is to help, we usually don’t expect to get more than a courteous thank you when we complete a job. We are gratified on occassion when our customers take the time and go out of their way to post a review on Google. And we admit, we love to see them.

Eric, lock technician, was an amazing help to me today. He was super competent, very efficient and forthright. After intermittent performance, my ignition lock finally jammed with no hope of spontaneous recovery; my mobility was totally shut down, luckily in my own driveway.

Lost my only set of keys while delivering jackets, hats and boots to the children of Saint Judes Childrens Cancer Hospital. Every dime I had was spent on the items. Thought nobody would care! Explained my dilemma to the key guy’s and blessed there are still good people operating a business not ALWAYS for profit! these are genuinely good people and amazing company. Honestly if it wasnt for the heart of this company the children would of NOT been able to receive their winter clothing. Not to mention it’s the first day it snows! THANK YOU GUYS GREATLY! Don’t Pay for a Tow
Just some comments on the above. Radmila was correct in noting that our service save money due to the fact that our mobile unit will come to you. No need for a tow. Plus, the dirty secret is that many dealerships will call us to do the work once you have paid to tow your car in, plus add a hefty dealer markup to our charges. Its always a better idea to call us directly.
We fix car ignitions not just keys
We do our best to arrive on time, and keep you informed of any delays caused by needing to do extra work for someone sheduled ahead of you. And when the problem is with the ignition more than the key, all of our technicians and vans are equipped to handle that issue as well.
